after the limits set on sms services ,that is limiting the number of
free messages to not more than 200 per day ,govt tried to regulate the
cheaper or less expensive means of communication. mainly because govt
was being criticized for its scams ,scandals ,etc. this was done
through jokes and also the social movements of anna and baba ramdev
used these means very well. now ,through mobile apps like what'sapp
,the govt fears the same things might repeat ,so may b by some silly
excuse or explanation ,the govt is trying to control and make sure
everyone is not able to afford such services.
