Dear access Indians Warm greetings I would like to know if any one on the list going to take SEBI grade ‘a’ officer exam which is going to be held on 15th of this month. There is a problem regarding the scribe guide lines prescribed by SEBI one of the guide lines stated by SEBI is as follows. The facility of a scribe would be allowed only to those PWD candidates who have Physical limitation to write, including that of speed. In case, such candidates Qualifies in the online test and is called for interview, at the time of interview, the Candidate will have to produce a medical certificate (along with a photocopy) >From an authorized Govt. of India/State Govt. Department/ Hospital to the >effect that the candidate has physical limitation to write including that of speed. This certificate will be required in addition to his/her disability certificate. The medical Certificate about physical limitation to write, including that of speed, should be Dated prior to the date of online test. At the interview centre, the original will be verified and photocopy will be retained by the centre in-charge. Candidates Without such certificate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
Look at this in spite of submitting medical certificate SEBI is asking another certificate and that too having a date prior to that of online exam. How can a person having 100% blindness write on his own? What is the point in asking a person who is 100% blind to get a certificate stating that he / she cannot write on his / her own and needs help? I’ve tried talking to HR department of SEBI though they agreed to accept for a certificate) post dated to online exam) that is only in words and that too they are saying “you first take the exam and come for the interview then we will consider”. Friends what is all this? How to over come this problem? I request learned members on the list to offer there valuable suggestions.
