Dear Mukesh, Output achieved is correct. Excel formula mentioned by you will allow month to be displayed if the date is = today's date. 2014 has nothing to do with it. This formula will not work even if you input yesterday's date (though year is 2014). As per the requirement mentioned in your email there is no problem in the formula indicated by you.
