OFFICE OF THE RECTOR JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY NEW DELHI-110067 NOTICE 16 January 2013 Shri Pranab Mukhcrjee, President of India, will deliver the 101'1 Tslehru Memorial Lecture on 'Nehru and Parliamentary Democracy" on Saturday, 18th January 2014 at 12.00 noon at Convention Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. For that purpose, the Convention Centre and the surrounding area will be under the control of Delhi Police. Therefore, it is to inform that : 1. All faculty members/invitees and students are requested to be seated by 11.30 a.m. in the Auditoriums of Convention Centre as no one would be allowed to enter inside the Convention Centre after 11.30 a.m. for security reasons. 2. Since the main Auditorium (Audi.I) has a limited seating capacity of 360 seats. arrangements have been made in Auditorium-II and outer corridor. Those who cannot be accommodated in one or the other Auditorium, are kindly requested to cooperate and witness the programme from the corridor space arranged for this purpose. 3. Entry by JNU photo Identity Card/Invitation Card only. 4. Entry of faculty and staff by photo Identity Card and original Invitation card with the cover envelop only. 5. Items such as briefcase, handbags, mobile phones, any kind of amis, camera and electronic gadget etc. will not be permitted. 6. You are requested to park your vehicles in SSS and SPS parking area as no one would be allowed to park vehicle on the road after the turning from the Cafeteria. 7 AH entry in the Convention Centre will be from the back side i.e. Cafeteria, Special Centre for Molecular Medicine and School of Physical Science side.
