Otherwise, you have to scan them and convert them in to readable text. I would advice you to scan them as PDF image and then convert them into HTML files, as they contain a lot of graphics. I do the same with my sighted daughter's books, as I take her studies... Still, graphics are left undescribed, but readability is there, which is not there in word files with graphics..
