Hi there,
I have been using Amex corporate card for over 8 years now as part of Pwc
policies.
I have used it several times in my overseas trip with ease. However in
India; there are very few places which accept Amex so I avoid using it.
Signature was never an issue.
Thanks and hope this helps.
Asif

Ah I see. Good luck with it. I have a corporate Amex card here in the UK
too. I did have to fill out a paper application for it but they never
complained about the signature. In fact, I have been lucky enough that no
financial institution has complained about my signature not matching here in
the UK. And I can assure you that it never matches!

Regards,
Kiran

Subject: Re: [AI] American Express Card users with thumb impression anyone?

Hi Sir,

American Express allows one to apply online in case of personal cards.
Mine is corporate, so I have to necessarily apply in paper form due to
Seal etc. Also the problem is that I don't have even a single document
containing my signature.

Merchants anyways hardly bother in matching the signature and stuff. I
have written to Mr. Baidwan (the Country Head of Consumer Card
Business) along with Mr. Adlakha (VP and Country Head of Global
Payments) and Mr. Ashwini Gupta (the President and Chief Risk
Officer). But looks like nobody has even read the email. I even posted
on their wall, but no luck. Trying to get hold of the numbers, lets
see.

I wish this issue resolves here itself.

Regards,
