This is just to let the list members know that Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued notifications for implementing the CSR related section (S. 135), rules relating to CSR and the amendment notification for the CSR activities prescribed under Schedule 7 of the Companies Act, 2013. Everything will be effective from 1st of April this year. The amended item which specifically mentions differently abled in the schedule reads as: (ii) promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly, and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects; The schedule itself is a scanned notification so one will need to convert it.
