The authorities have been successful in making a blackout of this incident. This morning, on P7 news they reported about the protest and the protesters breaking the barricade, but no news about the lathi charge which followed it.
Very recently, there was a similar blackout of a serious accident at an amusement park near Mumbai. which even had 17 fatal deaths , this too found no place in the electronic media. Only the social media was buzzing with it. Very, very alarming. Another very strong reason to express ourselves decisively by the ballots.
