Details of web accessibility Training: Name Accessibility and usability testing training For Visually Impaired Objective To enhance the chance of employability for visually impaired persons in Accessibility and usability testing field. Duration 6 months (25th March 2014 to 25th September 2014) Training Mode Onsite (EnAble India premise) Available seats 20 Medium of instruction English Last date to apply 20, March 2014 Structure of the course The course is divided into 3 levels. First level - 3 months * Basic computers: Brush up of basic computers including file folder management, MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet. * Basic employability: Attitude building, Disability specific skills - mobility, efficiency in note taking, finding solutions, skills building - analytical skills, process discipline, * English: listening comprehension, basic spoken and written communication and functional grammar. * Life skills: overcoming disability, personal competencies, community project and counseling. Second level - 1 month * Aptitude training on weekends. * Employability: General employability fundamentals - quality, domain work procedures, interview preparation, job awareness and role simulations. * English: Business English.
