Dear Access Indians
A short piece has been published in DNA Today <http://www.dnaindia.com/mumbai/report-show-leniency-to-visually-impaired-st udents-allow-oral-exams-1992022> which has been shared more than 700 times on FB and has triggered debate in many circles on Social Media <https://m.facebook.com/groups/504930379541967?view=permalink&id=79633885706 7783&refid=18&_ft_> where medical experts have argued that examinees with blindness should be allowed to take their board exams orally. Because "Writers are under a lot of pressure as they know they are responsible for someone else's performance. They have to write exactly what the student says. Dissonance can happen when the person is talking and writing, and can often be seen in the paper. The brain supports you when you are writing than when you are talking. So, there should be some leniency. If there is grading, it should be mild in such cases. There should be more flexibility in checking the papers of such students." What do you say?
