Dear All, Is anyone benefitting from the UGC's scheme for financial assistance to visually challenged college teachers under the twelfth five year plan? I approached the UGC's regional office located in Kolkata for this. They flatly denied on grounds that the head office has not yet issued any such order even though the scheme for assistance at INR 36,000/- per annum has been outlined comprehensively on the UGC website.
