limited, India.
This broadcast can be heard at 9 PM tonight on www.radioudaan.com and
repeat broadcast can be heard at 4 PM on Saturday, Sep 6, 2014 on the
same online radio station.

Prateek agarwal glides his fingers fluidly over a computer keyboard,
at a speed that can only be watched with amazement. Agarwal is a
software engineer, develops software
solutions, provides personality and life skills training to
corporate and individuals and once a week, teaches computers to
visually-challenged people. What makes this so worthy of mention is
that the young, spirited entrepreneur was born blind.
The inability to see did not deter 24-year-old Prateek Agarwal
from pursuing his childhood dream of opening his own enterprise.
Agarwal, who pursued computer science engineering,is now the CEO of an
IT company Deadel Technovations pvt. Ltd. floated by him in 2010.
Currently,he is employing more than 35 people and has offices in
Jaipur, Udaipur, and Hyderabad besides presence in US and
australia.
He has been awarded by x governer of rajasthan mr. madanlal khurana
and IT minister sachin pilot for his terrific achievements besides
being featured in various leading news papers, magazines, TV channels
and internet websites.

A product of St Michael School,Subhash Chowk,Agarwal had a keen
interest in mathematics.
Despite a shortage of books in Braille,he
managed to score better marks in his senior secondary exams than his
batch mates.
His enthusiasm and never-give-up attitude helped him trump
all odds. After Class 12 exams,he appeared for entrance tests at
various engineering colleges but was refused admission on the grounds
of disability.
In the end,NIIT University came to his rescue and admitted
him in the computer science branch of engineering.
In his final year, like other class mates,he too was upbeat about
placements. However,he got a rude shock when he had to face prevailing
prejudices in the corporate sector against the disabled.
After working hard on his application and getting internship
experience at reputed firms, two Forbes 500 companies refused him
job,simply because he was blind.
Stung by the refusal,Agarwal decided to start his own software company
in Jaipur. He worked tirelessly for days meeting potential clients. The
hard work paid off and he started getting assignments.
In 2010, Prateek Agarwal started his own IT company, Daedal
Technovations Pvt Ltd.
Currently, The company has its head office in jaipur with presence in
the US, the UK and Australia
providing B2B, B2C, and Internet marketing solutions to local and to
international brands like Tanishq, Paliwal Jewelers and Idea Cellular
to name a few. With the offices in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and training
education centre at Udaipur, Agarwal heads a team of 35 employees
today.
Every once a week, Agarwal volunteers his services at the Rajasthan
Netraheen kalyan sangh providing computer education to the blind there.
Besides this, prateek is a psychology graduate and is a certified counsiler.
He conducts training on life skills and personality for corporate and
individuals such as public speaking and communication, time
management, stress management etc. one of his series, called "turning
the table" has been a grand hit in jaipur and other cities amongst
engineering students.

With this, he is award winner singer, guitar playrer and loves to cook
and hang out with friends in his free time.
