I am working in union bank and I wanted to have the Icici credit card but I was denied because of my thumb impression. what should I do now?

As per our telephonic conversation on September 18, 2014,we informed
you that  Minimum Monthly Average Balance (MAB) is Rs 5,000.

Cheque Book : Nil for 30 payable-at-par cheque leaves in a quarter and
Rs. 30 for every additional cheque book of 15 leaves

Internet Banking : Free on request

Mobile Banking : Free on request

Debit Card Type : ICICI Bank International Debit Card

Debit Card limit : Daily spending/withdrawal limit: 35,000/25,000

ATM Interchange (Transactions at Non ICICI Bank ATMs) : Nil for the
first five cash withdrawals in the month and Rs.18 per cash withdrawal
thereafter in the same month.

DD/PO : Rs.50 per D.D. up to Rs.10,000;Rs.3 per thousand rupees or
part thereof for DD of more than Rs.10,000, subject to a minimum of
Rs.75 and maximum of Rs. 15,000

Anywhere Cash Withdrawals by customer or customers representative at a
non-base branch i.e. branch in other city : Nil for the first cash
withdrawal of a calendar month,Thereafter in the month, Rs.5 per

Features of Visually Impaired customers
·   A Blind person is one who has no sight in both eyes.

·   The applicant should personally visit the branch to open the account.

·   Savings / Term Deposit account will be opened for Visually
Impaired (Blind) persons under status code BLIND  and for salary
accounts under status code "PBLND".

·   A joint account can be opened by a visually impaired person as
the primary account holder.

·   Accounts for visually impaired persons will be opened at all
retail branches.

·   Phone banking / Mobile banking will be extended and existing
process will be followed.

·   Locker facility will be extended to these customers.

1. If requested by the customer, facility for providing the person
in-charge of the locker to be present when the locker is opened or to
check if nothing has been left behind or fallen after the locker is
closed will be provided.

·   A visually impaired customer will not be forced to operate the
bank account jointly with any person or in the presence of any person.

·   No services will be denied to visually impaired customers
including visually impaired customers who use their thumb impression
for operating the bank account.

Salary Account

· Transaction banking privileges for PBLND customers :

1. Waiver of DD/PO charges for upto 1 lac per day

2. Free multicity cheque book facility

3. Free usage of multicity cheque book upto 1 lac per month

4. ATM Interchange- Free upto 5 transaction in month

5. Transaction at base branch- Free upto 12 Trxn

6. Anywhere Cash withdrawal- Free (Maximum Cash withdrawal Limit :
Self: Rs 50000 Per day Third party : Rs 15000 per day)

7. Anywhere cash Deposit- Waived off (Maximum Cash Deposit Limit :
Self/ representative: Rs. 50000 Per day.

· Service privileges for PBLND customers: Internet banking, mobile
banking and Insta alert are made free for PBLND customers.

Features of Illiterate customers
·   An Illiterate person is one who is not educated, not able to put
signature and has no knowledge of reading and writing of any language.

·   Applicant to be clearly informed that all transactions will have
to be conducted at base branch only. Savings Account will not be
provided with Cheque book, ATM/Debit Card, Internet Banking and Phone
banking facility.

·   Customer will have to visit the branch to withdraw money from the
account. Only a loose cheque will be provided at the time of each cash
withdrawal (Existing process for loose cheque in circular 8758 to be
referred)
