U may also take a look of Lenovo's Thinkpad. Thinkpad is really good product in terms of ruggedness and its built quality. U can find thinkpad in 12 inches size where CD/DVD Rom will be in built. It comes with 9 cell battery and very light in weight. Visit their website or call their consumer helpline. Yeah, it may not fit into your budget, nevertheless u can check different models out there in the market with lower price range. If you could spend, a good 12 inches thinkpad will cost u around 70,000 rupees.
