The State Government will issue notification in this regard by the end of this month, he informed. The announcement has come after a delegation of speech and hearing impaired children called on the Chief Minister on Sunday evening at his residence here. Out of the six per cent reservation for disabled persons, two per cent reservation is for visually impaired, two per cent for bone-interrupted and another two per cent for speech and hearing impaired. The Chief Minister said that interpreters will be appointed in the major hospitals of the State to convey the instructions in sign language to speech and hearing impaired persons. Singh said that the government is committed to development of all disabled people.
