Dear all, Make sure that the books you download from bookshare are not shared at all. It is illegal. When a book is downloaded, the identity of the bookshare member is watermarked in the files and if the files are shared over the internet etc. the member will be held responsible and may have to face legal proceedings.
When membership is free, why not take membership instead of asking friends to download for you. I think many people may not be aware of this and therefore I am putting it here.
