Hi, those are stretching of your eye muscle. For example our eye can
see near as well as long distance. If our day-to-day routine is
predominant in either seeing near or long distance then the eye
muscles either gets contracted or expanded and remain in such
condition forcing the eye to be myopic or vice versa. So these
exercises or yoga include taking sunlight with closed eyelids, bumping
the ball up and down and side-by-side, stretch pendulam which is a
string with a small toy, taking candle light, reading chart in candle
light etc. This is for low vision people. For people who have loss
their vision gradually over time and are not stone blind, proper diet
could enhance visual accuity and once some vision is restored then the
eye exercises would be helpful to restore further vision. Eye muscle
are also a integral part of volintary and involintary muscles of our
body and as we exercise to enhance our body muscles and make it
stronger, similarly we can also exercise our eye muscle through these
eye yoga and make our eye muscles stronger. They guarantee regular
practice of these yoga would protect eyes against catterack, glocoma,
and one more fatal eye condition which I couldn't recollect at this
moment.
