You are right. by pressing we can go to the beginning of that particular
cell.
I dont know why you asked to press ctrl+home. What action will be performed
by pressing ctrl+home?

just press f2. The current cell will be in edit mode. Press the arrow
keys and know the text. By default, the cursor lies at the end. Press
