Dear all, A while ago, my speakers stopped functioning, in which I did investigate quite a bit, but to no avail. So, I let the speakers remain. Now, I am encountering another audio-related issue. I use Logitech headphones, which when I plug fully, that is when the wire is fully inserted into the corresponding port, does not give audio output from my screen readers (both NVDA & JAWS) and another audio producing electronic piano application, however, does give audio output from a song being played in VLC Media Player. When I half plug the headphones, that is part of the headphone wire is in the jack, and part is out, I get full audio output from everywhere. Preferably, and normally, the headphone should be fully plugged in, to recieve complete audio output, but in my case, it isn't so. Do you all have any suggestions? This has happened just now suddenly, and I'm unsure of whats happening with the audio in my laptop. I'll be sending it for servicing after my exams get over, which are till 20th March, for which I'll be using this computer to study. Half plugged headphones are totally usable, but strange.
