While I agree that the points you raise are valid and very critical. Yes
the campaign for Govvt being more active in providing jobs to the adult
blind/visually impaired persons has definitely to be intensified. This
however does not take away from the earlier comments and views expressed
regarding immoral practices during taking exams.

Focus has to be on quality services in terms of education, vocational
training and skill development. Our blind candidate need to be empowered.
The need is to demand for more schools across the country, better quality
of teachers and modernisation of processes. The blind youth coming out of
the system have to be employable.

Subject: [AI] Tamil Nadu: 56 visually challenged persons arrested

You can arrest them, but can not kill their spirit to fight for their
rights granted by the law.
State is becoming repressive towards us: let us all become more alert
and vigilent.
These protesters have cleared exams and eligibility but where is job?
who is responsible for their joblessness? such questions should make
us thoughtful and help us in deciding how we respond to the state.
Recently I met with two prominent government officials in Delhi at
IIC, and they informed government is not at all willing to employ
totally blind people. and here some of friends are raising questions
about the immoral means adopted by blind examinees?
