I think people are not aware of Retina Detachment as compared to a retina
ailment.
When something is detached it should generally be reattached by surgery.
The longer you waste looking for a doctor the chances of reattachment and
regaining vision is lessened.
No doctor will give you spirtual lectures when there is an emergency. So
dont get confused.
you also dont have the time to look for a good doctor, you must go to the
one nearest to you who specialises in retina surgeries-preferably a vitro
retinal ophthalmic surgeon.
What people watch on tv should be related to the question being asked and
not just answered for the sake of answering.

Dr.Natrajan.He would take your Rs 1500 bucks and tell you that there's no
treatment currently.He would give you spiritual lectures and tell you to
believe in God etc.It may happen that people in Shankar netralaya would
tell
you to undergo a surgery and might put oil in the eyes.Dont ever fell into
such trap and make your decision by consulting a lot of people rather in a
hurry.
