Folks, do get disqualified at the interview stage too.It is not that all those
who have cleared the mains would get the job. My contention is even if a
candidate gets through the mains stage, during the interview stage, the
interview is pretty rigourous and those who have come this far as a result of
the scribe, he will not be able to cope with the interview process. His
weakness would definitely show up here.

The point is, there is also one level of filtering process to which no
accessibility issue plays as far as blind candidates are concerned. This should
give comfort to the UPSC officials.

We need to drum this point across effectively.

It does not matter if the interviewer is aware of the written exams score.

The competition is so very intense, poor showing in the interview would give
little or no hope cracking it.

To my view this arguement is hypothetical
Harish.

Harish sir, you may not be right what you've mentioned in your first message of
this thread.
If some foul play has been done at mains exam level with the perspective of
UPSC or the candidate, it can not be dealt at the interview level. Because in
UPSC interview is totally separet from mains exam, interviewer don't have
access to the candidate's mains marks .
Suppose a candidate got help from the scribe in improving his answers, he will
get good marks in mains exam, even if he secures lesser marks in interview, he
will be qualified because marit is prepared after combining both stage's marks.
Now take the reverse scenario, if a candidate has suffered irreparable loss due
to that sarkari scribe, he will get very low marks in mains exam itself, may be
he couldn't qualify for interview just on this basis. Or he got very poor marks
in mains, even he secure fair marks in interview level, he will not figure in
final selection list!
