New Zealand, unlike most countries, does not have a Constitution. The
United States Constitution is a formal compact between the nation and its
citizens which not only defines the structure of government, but delimits
its powers.

>From the standpoint of complete ignorance of New Zealand's governance, I
can only remark that your government may do whatever it pleases because
there are no limits to its powers.

It is true we cannot claim any unfairness. But they have provided a
program to make our jobs easier and state that it does not require a live
internet connection. When we try that and it does not work, we sure get
annoyed. Dont't we ?

But i think after reading your posting yesterday I am convinced that it
sure is not going to work for e-mail only users. Hence we better be
content with using the email access to downloadslave rather than using
urlrequester.

Thanks very much.

Subject: Re: Internet connection to use URLrequester to Downloadslave.

Dear Johannes,

Thanks for your responses on our queries. Sorry to bother you much in your
busy schedule. But the program seems to give probs.

The following is the error message generated when trying to send a request.

Try to connect to host: www.downloadslave.com
Downloadslave is not reachable. Please try it later again.
Windows-Socket-Fehler: (10049), auf API 'connect'

Do not know what is the problem ? The request does not go through as there
are no requests in the "See sent requests column".

You had said that;

it may be possible that the remote gateway is overqueued...

cannot figure out which remote gateway. My end or slave's end ? Kindly
clarify.

One more thing, while going through the .dat file in English, there are
many options incorporated there in just a few examples are;

(a) Check for new mail
(b) Get all download slave mails
(c) Have I got a prize ?
........... and many more which are not found in the program commands or
any other screens!?@

Where are these commands located ? If you can check for new mail even if I
have not logged on to the mail server, it would be great. Is it possible ?

Thanks for your help.

Azeem.

New Zealand does not have a written constitution, but we do have an entrenched bill of
rights similiar to Canada's Charter of rights, and a very rigorous privacy act. The
one area in which New Zealand Law is very deficient is anti-trust law, unlike the US.
It's also legal to Hack here;)
