Yes, there are. The sad part is that they are not free; that is, a
subscription is required.

However, there is a specific (and rather weird) tribe of netizens who try
to connect through the Internet all things to ...all things. Belonging to
this species, I have setup a mail2sms gateway using one mail2web and one
web2sms service. Unfortunately due to lack of time, neither this service
is available to the public yet.

In my priority list, I have to translate the last part of Accmail FAQ into
Hellenic first. After that, I think I will be able to set up a www4mail
and a mail2sms gateway, as I have already written here.
