Of course, that depends on which server you mean!

Our experience with www4mail has been enlightening.

We were surprised to discover that the *main* reason for delivery
failure is that the email host refuses mail from the server. So of
course, you see no response -- the response has been rejected.

There can be many reasons for refusal. If possible, you should check the
policies of your email host.
