I am not great with source control management, but I think that now we have a release we should purge all of the old RC candidates (as well as having a specific 1.3.5 tag if we don't already). I poked around hadoop, and they seem to only maintain RC history with unreleased versions, which I think is the way to go.
Any thoughts from others before we go about this? John
