Right, I was a a bit enthousiastic in cleaning up the cleanup method (oh, the
irony).
As for the changes to the plugin configuration, I couldn't get that to work the
way it should. Somehow, having the additional surefire configuration makes Pax
Exam workers 'hang', that is, not being cleaned up after their test, and thus
holding on to the HTTP port they use.
