------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-01-03 20:14 ------- I manually patched the Debian 2.6.14-7 source with radeonfb_d2_suspend-20051205.patch and can report that it works on my T42 2373-JTU. With the patched radeonfb module loaded the power consuption dropped from 3909 mW to 657 mW while in software suspend (echo -n "mem" > /sys/power/state). I have Xorg 6.9 and the associated radeon_dri driver loading and noted no ill effects starting X with the radeon driver specified in Xorg.conf while radeonfb was loaded. 3D acceleration was unchanged from before and software suspend/resume worked with the lower power consumption noted earlier. I strongly urge that this patch be included into the main kernel tree if possible. I will continue to test this patch. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
