I am running: kernel-2.6.14-1.1656_FC4. Which version of 'pmtools' can I run to
get a diagnostic dump?

Can I get an 'rpm' or do I have to compile it from source?

BTW - this is clearly an ACER problem. I've checked this on a Fujitsu Siemens
and an IBM ThinkPad R52 laptop - works perfectly on both. Simply refuses to
detect the ACER battery/adaptor though :(
