The Intel* match was intentional because we don't know what OEMs do to your
BIOS.
The reason I used dmi is that it is tricky to parse MADT that early
(would need some reorganization on i386 which I don't want to do now)
I guess it doesn't matter because the year check will find it anyways.
I don't know how to fix the bad dates. At some grade of BIOS breakage
users will have to specify boot options no way around that.
the bad nolapic<->IOAPIC interaction has been fixed already.
Can you retry with a KOTD?
