final patch, the functional equivalent of the last patch, with comment updates
and a superflous early initialisation removed
This is the final patch which is (in the same functional form)
in the pcmcia-2.6 git tree of Dominik since soon (this version
has only cosmetical changes) since 4 weeks and since 3 weeks in
the -mm kernels
Since every tester reported success and there were no failure reports
so far, I'd regard it as stable and I think it should be merged to mainline
at the next opportunity.
Dominik, can you update the patch in your pcmcia git tree to this version
just to ensure that Linus does not grab the unpolished version from your tree?
(e.g. it names itself also pci_fixup_parent_subordinate() in the function
header, while it should read yenta_fixup_parent_subordinate(), just an example)
