I'm experiencing the same problem as reported by Marko Mäkelä in comment #177
(Thinkpad hangs on second suspend). This is with a T41, model 2373-7JU.
Disabling the patch with the boot parameter video=radeonfb:ignore_devlist=1
fixes the hang, but of course the battery drain problem persists.
I'm not a kernel programmer but I'd be happy to help investigate this in any way
I can. However I'm not sure where to start. Suggestions welcome...
