speedstep_lib was still loaded as module for me and a module for pentium 4 
processors, guess that was the issue.

adding acpi-cpufreq to the modules array in rc.conf fixed the issue and the 
faulty speedstep_lib didn't got loaded anymore

(i have a amilo m1439g which is pretty much equal to the m1437g, but i think 
it's a general centrino issue)
