## though it is sort of unexpected that LNKA should come to Linux
   from the BIOS in a disabled state -- assuming that
   the devices on it are enabled in the BIOS.

But yes, the fact that enabling LNKB w/o pci=routeirq sure makes
this looks like a plain 'ol BIOS bug; and the fact that the
same failure is seen on Windows until the modem driver is
loaded confirms that.  It also confirms that Linux is bug compatible
with Windows:-)

Perhaps we should simply automatically enable pci=routeirq
for BIOS that matches this one?  Anybody care to provide dmidecode output?
