(though looking at PCI config space, that guess was probably correct) The 2.6.9 dmesg shows... > DMI not present. So probably your Fedora kernel has CONFIG_ACPI_BLACKLIST_YEAR=1999 or some other non-zero value. Try booting it with "acpi=force", or building a kernel.org kernel with CONFIG_ACPI_BLACKLIST_YEAR=0.
