------- Comment #4 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-01-11 11:07 ------- The following info helps perhaps: I inserted some "printk" calls in drivers/acpi/battery.c so I could recognize that: acpi_battery_init is called and executed normally, returnes with 0. acpi_battery_add is called only in 2.6.23 but not in .24!! I must note, that the battery modul is not loaded automatically!
