[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[EMAIL PROTECTED] Status|NEW |ASSIGNED ------- Comment #15 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-01-25 07:53 ------- dmesg shows _same_ errors, but now they don't break battery driver. slab shows problem as acpi wrote past the end of allocated buffer of 64 bytes. size of buffer is expected to be 4*sizeof(ACPI_OBJECT) + 1 * sizeof(ACPI_OBJECT), as it is supposed to hold PBST package of 4 integers, thus 80 bytes, not 64. There is a problem with this DSDT, which might be connected: PBST references absent Z00A object. Acpiexec from 20080123 gives buffer length as 96 bytes. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
