Has this something to do with some kind of template AMD passes to vendors?
Joachim: The ASL ACPI bug inside the BIOS is rather easy to fix for the
vendors. I expect handling the wrong reference right, is rather hard to fix in
any of our products.

Maybe you can push this a bit to the vendors, or even fix the root cause?

The bug is: The CPU objects have been renamed, but the reference to the passive
cooling object (a processor object) has not and is invalid now (e.g. see fix in
comment #28).
