I first tried with the debug build of kernel-2.6.24.3-28.fc8 booted with AC plugged in, enabled the debug output, unplugged it and replugged it but nothing happened (it does print stuff though when I press the power button). Then I did the same with the debug build of kernel-2.6.24.3-34.fc8 (the one with the patch reverted) and attached the output here.
