Summary: oops after resume from acpi S3
Product: ACPI
Version: 2.5
KernelVersion: 2.6.24.3
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Tree: Mainline
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P1
Component: Other
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Latest working kernel version: 2.6.23
Earliest failing kernel version: 2.6.24

Steps to reproduce:
I tried a kernel with out the /proc/acpi/event entry - this works as expected
after the resume (at least on a short test). But enableing the entry results in
this, after I resume from S3:
BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address

printing eip: 00000000 *pde = 35e1e067 *pte = 00000000
