[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[EMAIL PROTECTED] ------- Comment #26 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-03-18 07:44 ------- Reverting the patch is wrong and breaks other machines. ACPI video module has not been used much before ACPI autoloading..., this is not much of a regression. Better do it properly or we go in circles. Please try to not load the ACPI video driver. Instead load the thinkpad_acpi driver with: brightness_enable=1 parameter. Does this work? If that works, this is the right workaround for T61 with internal/on-board Intel graphics card. I cannot reopen this one, can someone else do this, pls. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
