DSDT is now again compiled with the Intel rather than Micro$oft ASL compiler; very few differences from the DSDT included in v1.32 other than those required to make the DSDT compliant with the specs. for such things. I haven't noticed any difference in behaviour; the system got very hot if I didn't run the fan control script, unless I booted with ec_intr=0. I personally think that this problem is a Linux x86_64 bug rather than an Acer bug, simply because 32-bit works, but US non-support not-withstanding, Acer are issuing new BIOS's about once a fortnight, so they wouldn't do that for no reason.
