------- Comment #35 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-04-16 06:39 ------- I just tested the patch in comment #26 with a 2.6.24.2 kernel *without* the ec_intr=0 kernel command, on a ThinkPad R51e. For me, it works fine with a couple of little niggles: * The sleep button (Fn-F4 key) or hibernate button (Fn-F12) only works once per bootup/resume, as Chris highlighted. This, of course, isn't a problem if you're actually using it to suspend the machine as you'll only be able to press it once per bootup/resume! But if it's mapped to do something else, then it can be fairly annoying. There are many other key combinations on the keyboard though, so this doesn't bother me at all. * When suspended, pressing the Fn key will unsuspend the machine. This also doesn't actually affect me though. Other than that, everything seems to work. Suspending has been flawless and apart from the addition of ACPI events and the above niggles, the computer appears to act as it did before. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
