I noticed that I still had one not-so-handy command in rc.local, i.e.: echo enable,0xffff > /proc/acpi/ibm/hotkey I removed this and rebooted 2.6.25 with patch, and have not had any problems since, uptime says 14 days up, with multiple s2ram and/or s2disk each day. So I think the bug should be marked as verified.
