[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attachment #15813|0 |1 is obsolete| | Attachment #16030|0 |1 is obsolete| | Attachment #16476|0 |1 is obsolete| | ------- Comment #22 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-08-10 13:24 ------- Created an attachment (id=17171) --> (http://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=17171&action=view) 2.6.26: /var/log/messages No success. The phenomenon is that the wait_transaction_complete (sbshc.c) uses wait_event_timeout with timeout 1000 [ms] that never expires. I don't know if there could be some conflict with something that smb_check_done does (call to smb_hc_read -> ec_read). The attached log shows the problem in 2.6.26 (your patch plus my patch). The reading succeded once (`cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/state`), but the second try failed - timeout didn't expire. Just to note: my former run succeded four times. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
