Thanks for the reminder and test.
But from the screenshot in comment #17 it seems that the system doesn't
hang in acpi_scan_init any more. Instead it hangs in the function of genl_init.
Will you please double check it?
Will you please use git-bisect to find which commit causes the regression
between 2.6.25.10 and 2.6.26.1? Although the system can work well on the kernel
of 2.6.27-rc2, maybe it will be better to find the root cause.
