Please, reopen this bug. The issue is still valid on v2.6.27-rc3-414-gb09c3e3.
/proc/interrupts counters for IRQ 19 increment at a rate of 50-something every
second. No devices are plugged into the PCMCIA or SD card slots.
With "noapic" the boot process stalls for 9 minutes and then resumes.
