By the way, even if this was the case, the patches for this bug have been judged too much of a kludge, so they haven't been merged, and never will. Moreover, unfortunately, from my last tests on kernel 2.6.26 neither these patch, neither another "cleaner" one sent me by ykzhao (which anyway is not clean 'enough') seem to be working anymore.
