------- Comment #43 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-10-13 19:44 -------
Hi, Denys
thanks for the confirm. Unfortunately there is no beep on your box in the
course of resume. It will be very good to add some debug method.

Will you please do the following two tests on your box?
   1. Verify whether the resume is related with the driver
      a. echo core > /sys/power/pm_test ( If there is no /sys/power/pm_test
file, please enable "CONFIG_PM_DEBUG" in kernel configuration)
      b. echo mem > /sys/power/state

Please wait for some time to confirm whether the system is
resumed.(Unnecessary to press power button).

   2. Use the PM_trace
      a. enable CONFIG_PM_DEBUG and CONFIG_PM_TRACE in kernel configuration
      b. echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace
      c. echo mem > /sys/power/state
      d. press the power button to check whether the system is resumed. If not,
please reboot by holding the power button down, and look at the dmesg output
for things like the following: (It will be great if you can attach the output
of dmesg after reboot)
        Magic number: 4:156:725
        hash matches drivers/base/power/resume.c:28
        hash matches device 0000:01:00.0

     Thanks.
