------- Comment #3 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-11-02 20:01 ------- Created an attachment (id=18605) --> (http://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=18605&action=view) Output of 'acpidump' This is the output from acpidump. When I did it, I also received a warning on stderr: $ sudo acpidump > acpidump.out.txt Wrong checksum for OEMB! Not sure if this is relevant or not. All I _do_ know is that something between what was there originally and is there now, there is a problem. Maybe some check can be done that switches the code based on the system? I don't know anything about the problem on other people's systems that caused the change from 17-Oct to become necessary, so I don't know if that's even possible. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
